A student from a large Altai family, in the summer of 1941, she participates in the evacuation of children from Leningrad. After her father is drafted to the front, she takes his place and leaves her 16 younger siblings to support their only breadwinner. She overcomes the challenges of the front lines and celebrates victory in Manchuria.
